OuterMonVOLia is the home of the MonVOLs. Founded by Boonevol and Ghenghisvol after Firecoachfulmer.com submitted to the asshattery of a green party failure, MonVOLia was intended as a shelter of last resort in case of Volchat banning for Boonie. After Ghenghis' 42nd banning, Boonie and Ghenghis moved in. Blacksheepvol, Oracle, Pitifulmer, and many other early members soon followed from the ashes of FCF.com.
Boonie is the founder, and true moderator. Ghenghis is the bankroll behind the operation, dropping huge green to get the site off the ground in the early days. Due to all around geekiness, Blacksheepvol was handed the chief engineer title, and promptly set about putting some freaky stuff in the site code. Nashvolle was named moderator in absentia. As soon as rip van volle wakes up, he may ban you for not kissing up to BrotherVoliver2. TwinDaddyVol was given the reign of Pearl Jam, our hoops board. He watches over the one post per month without getting directly involved. Well after the founding, the Fark board was given to CouldBeFostersDad to monitor, since he is the A#1 poster and creative genius of all MonVOLia.
As the 2005 train wreck unfolded, the small cadre of volcreants grew into a board of around 100 members. The group slowly grew to 300 or so, when 2007's losses to Cal and Florida blew up the membership to 530+ by the time the Vols played the mighty Indians of Arkansas State.
